Haven't been out to Beaumont in a while. Dad and I passed through last July on our way to Folkston, GA, but we didn't do any railfanning there.

0:16 - In China, a UP freight moves into the siding. According to Jack Carson, UP 9421 is the only UP Dash-8 with a K5LAR24 horn, as they usually have K3LA horns.

11:10 - Crossing over the yard a couple of times on the bridge.
11:39 - Catch of the day! At the Amtrak station, the Sunset Limited rolls in at an up-close shot! Even through I was just behind the yellow safety line, it still felt very close!

12:42 - A UP unit (or two?) tucked away on the side of a building.
12:55 - DANGER! A little bit up the Lafayette sub, this crossing gate had its arm bent very close to the tracks!! Trains were able to get by, including the hyper-fast Amtrak, so it looks like its ok... for now.
13:12 - Bouncy! In Devers, the Amtrak flies through and gives the passengers a wild ride through the switch track and crossing gate!
13:52 - The same UP freight from China is now sitting in the siding in Liberty. Also on here is some nice sunset pictures from the drive home.
